Keith Murray is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a highly regarded specialist in the area of compulsory purchase and compensation.
His experience spans over 35 years. His career started with the Valuation Office advising local authorities and government departments on compulsory purchase and valuation.
For twelve years he was a partner with Edwin Hill in charge of the Specialist Services Department responsible for advising clients in connection with compulsory purchase and compensation.
In 2000 he set up in practice to provide the personal approach he felt was lacking in most large surveying practices whilst providing the highest calibre of advice and service in this complex area.

Samantha is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 15 years substantive experience of compulsory purchase and compensation, having worked on some of the UKs largest infrastructure projects including Crossrail & HS2.
She started her career at Transport for London in 2007; working on all property aspects required in the promotion and delivery of major transport schemes. In 2018 Samantha joined Keith Murray Consultants with the aim of utilising her experience advising acquiring authorities, to ensure the individual impacts on those affected by compulsory purchase process can be mitigated as much as possible, and further develop Keith Murray Consultants strategy for advising clients on their best course of action.
Samantha was recently elected by her peers to the board of directors of the Compulsory Purchase Association; which is a not for profit organisation that promotes best and effective practice in the delivery of land for infrastructure, housing and regeneration through the use of compulsory purchase powers.
Having worked for many years advising acquiring authorities Samantha is able to utilise this experience to foresee issues that may arise for those affected by compulsory purchase, and advise clients on how to proactively manage impacts to minimise the effect on them.
